For Japanese people the place name Nagoya (名護屋) is only known for Nagoya Castle, and there are no independent article of Nagoya, Saga in ja zh ko wikipedia(s).Penpen (talk) 07:10, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose merging. The article on Nagoya, Saga is on a defunct municipality which deserves its own article. The article on the castle likewise does not belong in the article on the former town. Fg2 (talk) 21:12, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Given the length of time that has passed since this discussion started, I have removed the merge plates and closed this discussion. The separated pages on ja zh and ko all exist now. JoshuaJohnLeetalk softly, please 04:13, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
