Sources for organization history?[edit]

I edited the article to properly cite this Deccan Herald article (which was then essentially the only source covering the history of Mysore City Corporation), then Diannaa basically removed the entire section for "copyright content". Has anyone else found sources covering the history of MCC?

On my part, I did a cursory google search, revealing the following potential sources. I think this might be enough for a non-copyright-infringing history section, but I'm unsure. (I still view the Deccan Herald article as the best MCC history explainer so far.)

- https://www.deccanchronicle.com/nation/current-affairs/080919/mysureans-beware-your-history-in-peril.html (in a throwaway mention)

- https://www.business-standard.com/article/beyond-business/in-pursuit-of-swachhness-115122500583_1.html (which briefly mentions a "history of cleanliness" dating back to the 1930s)

- https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/magazines/panache/date-with-history-a-major-administrator-who-made-mysuru-a-model-state/articleshow/58274594.cms (an especially long overview of the longest-serving administrator, Mark Cubbon, serving 1834 - 1860)

OK, a year later I finally remembered to do this and re-add a History section. While looking over the links again I realized that the last two were false positives (the third one didn't really have to do with the MCC proper and the fourth one was about a guy who was around before MCC even existed). The new section is pretty small though. Duckmather (talk) 00:13, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
