Am I the only one who thinks this short is really about an interracial love affair and not music? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.166.107.142 (talk) 02:26, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot description[edit]

Is the text of the article original research? There are not inline citations. And whether it's original or not, it's questionable to the point one might want to look for an additional interpretation. Specifically, I question the paragraph Across the Sea of Discord, the saxophone-shaped Isle of Jazz is a jazz-themed kingdom alive with hot jazz music and dancing, but the prince (an alto saxophone) takes little interest in it. Sneaking out, he spots the princess across the sea with the aid of a clarinet-telescope, and instantly falls in love with her. He quickly travels across the sea on a xylophone boat to meet her. When viewing the cartoon, it seems much more likely that the lvoers have met before and are sneaking off already knowing the other will be looking for them.
