they make a good stout, better than guiness and it is cheaper

Totally agree, their stout is like nectar... and I can safely say that after drinking 2 pints of it... Its pure sweet goodness... I actually prefer it to guiness, Which is saying something. :-) 86.29.35.205 (talk) 23:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Undiscussed move[edit]

Hi. This article was recently moved from "Murphy's Brewery" to "Heineken Brewery Ireland" on the basis that "name of the brewery was changed to Heineken Brewery Ireland". In keeping with WP:RMUM, I have reverted this undiscussed move. I have restored the original title as, in addition to being undiscussed, the rationale given ("the official name changed") doesn't to my mind, on its own, justify a move. I say this as, generally speaking, it is not a subject's WP:OFFICIALNAME that determines the article title. But its WP:COMMONNAME. And, based on relatively recent news and other coverage, the OFFICIALNAME has not yet replaced the historical COMMONNAME. Happy to have a discussion, and to see if there is consensus that a move is justified. But, even a quick WP:GOOGLETEST suggests that "Murphy's Brewery" remains the COMMONNAME of the subject covered here. Guliolopez (talk) 11:18, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
