Infobox[edit]

Could you add her birthdate and other personal details to the infobox? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 20:11, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Yoninah: For murders I use {{infobox event}}, rather than {{infobox person}}. The former doesn't have a birthdate parameter since it's not about a person. Daniel Case (talk) 20:13, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but can't you add {{infobox person}} into the template, like you can with Template:Infobox officeholder? Yoninah (talk) 20:22, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Yoninah: Well, all officeholders are people, so that infobox is really just a specialized version of the person template. Events can't have birthdates, and in other articles I've done where the subject is a death, like Robert Wykel, Pamela Werner, Dee Dee Blanchard and Faith Hedgepeth (some of which, I think, you've reviewed the DYK nominations for), I have done it this way, leaving the decedent's birthdate out of the infobox while putting it prominently in the lede. OK, thanks for the explanation. Yoninah (talk) 12:11, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
