Son Ramiro[edit]

We have a conflict between the pages for Sancho and Muniadona regarding the list of children, specifically the 'other' Ramiro. It has been too long since I looked at these sources, but I remember one scholar (I think Ubieto Arteta) mentioning the charter showing Garcia, his brother Ramiro, and his other brother Ramiro as indication that Sancho had a legitimate son Ramiro in addition to the well-documented illegitimate one. However, I also remember another scholar suggesting that the document was corrupt, and that Ramiro has mistakenly been written for Fernando. Unfortunately, I no longer recall who this was. Does Martínez Diez address this specifically? Either way, the two pages need to be harmonized. Agricolae (talk) 18:34, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

For now I removed the second Ramiro (mentioned in charter from S. Millán and by Govantes, and also Bernardo, in Albelda and mentioned by Moret, pending further confirmation from more modern secondary sources. --Maragm (talk) 12:16, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
