Mt. Sterling, KentuckyMount Sterling, Kentucky – This is an odd case. A note in the article's lede claims "Mt. Sterling" is the "official name", but the reference on the statement unhelpfully has the city listed under "Mount Sterling" with the note, "Actual name of city is Mt. Sterling." The USGS GNIS has "Mount", and it's also somewhat more common in Google results. Pages like Mount Sterling, Kentucky micropolitan area and Category:People from Mount Sterling, Kentucky use the longer form; they should be renamed if this page isn't. --BDD (talk) 15:59, 28 September 2016 (UTC) 15:59, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support move? Seems like "Mount" would help with consistency.  ONR  (talk)  05:25, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
