Will whoever is continously deleting the {{NPOV}} tag please desist from doing so? I believe that this article still reeks of point of view and that the article's neutrality needs to be reviewed, though I have yet to find a way to get this outside of the article. It seems to me that some reason for why this article deserves a NPOV tag is in order. The "this article still reeks of point of view" doesn't cut it. That is honestly not the point. I have tried to make this article both informative and detailed. I have tried to include links to outside research/info that support the statements herein. The info here is an accurate representation of things that have gone on at MRHS over the past year or so, and are germane to anyone intrested in this topic. My only objection was that you wanted to replace facts and events with opinion about Small Schools; not all Small School reform efforts are carried out with the same spirit, or accomplish the same goals. Just read about Foss High School and you will see what I mean. That poor school has been ripped apart by the Small Schools do-gooders. While the Small Schools idea has a lot that is good, it also can be just another educational fad that goes nowhere and accomplishes nothing if done badly. The fact that it has, to a large degree, been done badly at MRHS is plain to anyone who spends any time talking with students, teachers, and parents.Country Western 03:22, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted the section on the Small Schools initiative because it now appears to be out of date--note that the funding ended in June 2007. Also, the whole discussion seems to be more appropriately included in a separate Wikipedia entry to which the Mt. Rainier entry can make a reference. Notable alumni?[edit]

Shouldn't the notable alumni section say why someone is notable? Many of the people listed there do not have an explanation of what makes them notable. I think these people should be removed until such explanation is provided. --ITocapa 23:32, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Citations[edit]

These would really help in this article. I am removing blatant advertisements like "Mount Rainier has many strong excellent programs". Also, if information about things like the "4th academy" is given, it needs to clarify how this is notable. Wikipedia is not a list of random high school programs. If its not notable, and there is no source given to prove that in this case it is, it should be removed.
