Listed?[edit]

Is the old builidng listed? What grade? Andy Mabbett 20:26, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's a good point, it is. I'll add a sentence to that effect TharkunColl 20:51, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, My understanding is that the library roof was assessed by structural engineers (?) as being IN DANGER of collapse, in 1986, at the time that an examination was taking place but there was no collapse, partial or otherwise. Subsequently of course the library was closed, along with other rooms and scaffolding erected to prevent further movement of the outer wall. The scaffolding remained in place until the restoration began some ten years later. Rod Ling (teacher at the school)

Suggestion for additional section[edit]

I would like to suggest that an additional section is added to the page, namely, 'Successful Alumini". While famous alumini may be nice, at best, they do not indicate any real contribution of students to society. For example, a former old-boy (I think, Gerald Taylor) was a parliamentary candidate for the Conservatives etc. I am sure there are multiple additional examples of students who have made some real contributions apart from some passing fame.

I've just added another, the TV presenter Joanne Malin. I'm not really sure how workable your suggestion would be though, as it entirely depends on how one measures "success". If the person you mentioned had actually become an MP then yes, but I'm not really sure a that a failed candidate deserves mention, unless he's famous for something else. the lead needs to be cleaned up[edit]

Should that all be there? I already corrected the claim that the girl was the only Jewish girl at school because that isn't true because my friend was a Jewish girl at Moseley that year. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.236.151.82 (talk) 00:32, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
