Non-signing artists[edit]

El Mortadelo de Casanyes provides a (shocking) introduction in Spanish to the story of the unrecognized artists that Editorial Bruguera pressed into action when Ibáñez could not cope with the enormous output asked. Inaccuracies[edit]

There were a pair of inaccuracies in this article:

- "appearing for the first time in 1958 in the children's comic-book Tío Vivo" : The actual comic-book was "pulgarcito".

- "Also, TIA is the Spanish word for Aunt (a spoof on U.N.C.L.E., the fictional intelligence agency from the TV series "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.")." : The article does not provide a reference for this, and it is not likely true. The Spanish title of that show was "El hombre de CIPOL" ('the man from CIPOL' where CIPOL doesn't mean anything in spanish) and in those days, very few people in spain could spoke english.

The sentence "T.I.A. translating into "Aeroterraquatic (air, land, sea) Investigation Technicians" is wrong. "terráquea" or "terráqueo" translate into "of the earth". Fair use rationale for Image:Mortadelo.JPG[edit]

Image:Mortadelo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

So Phil is "a very educated man and an expert in a variety of fields, such as biology and geology"?
