1996 Ivy / Ballantine / Fawcett edition[edit]

Right now the book with ISBN 0-8041-1309-2 is listed as published by Fawcett, but the physical book actually says "Ivy Books. Published by Ballantine Books." and "First Ballantine Books Edition: December 1996". According to Wikipedia's page on Ballantine Books, "Fawcett, now home to Ballantine's mysteries, was acquired in 1982. In 1987, Ivy Books was launched and now features Ballantine's romance novels." While this might imply that the book should have been printed under the Fawcett imprint, the physical book in my possession clearly says it was under the Ivy imprint.

Does anyone know if it was ever actually reprinted by Ballantine under any imprint other than Ivy? If so, did they share the same ISBN?

Also, is there some guideline or convention on how to reference a book that has been published under several imprints? GCL (talk) 19:34, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Morse's Greatest Mysteries"[edit]

It appears that there was a WHSmith-exclusive "Morse's Greatest Mysteries", containing two of the stories from Morse's Greatest Mystery: the title story plus "The Inside Story". Should it be considered as a separate book, or as another edition of this one? Given that another "cut-down" promotional edition containing six of the stories is listed, I would argue that this should be in the article as well.
