Year of birth[edit]

Two users (203.184.46.76 (talk · contribs) and Morgannacrystal (talk · contribs)) have changed the infobox to show a year of birth of 1991. However, the biography attached to the article as a reference shows 1992. I've left messages on the talk pages of both users, asking them to provide a WP:RS that justifies the change; but neither has responded, nor have they given any explanation for their edits in their edit summaries.

I've tried searching for alternate sources myself; but each one that I've checked supports the 1992 date (see here and here for specific date given, or it can be calculated by this one showing she was 15 on 2008-03-13, which would require the 1992 date to be true (note, I realize the last one uses WP:OR to calculate the date - I would never use such a source as a ref for the birth date, it's just on the talk page to demonstrate I've tried searching for the data).

At this point, unless the users changing the information can provide a reliable source justifying their change, I'm viewing continued such action to be an odd form of vandalism. However, even though 3RR allows for additional reverts in the case of vandalism, I am planning to report this issue elsewhere prior to making the change again myself (which would be a #rr at this point). --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 14:55, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Third opinion: I'll accept the date per the source. Until other sources have been given to show anything to the contrary, her birthdate should stand at 1992. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 19:47, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Morgan is in fact born in 1992. I can confirm 1992 as being the correct date since I know her in person Gareth Stephen Griffiths (talk) 05:45, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it that anyone can come on here and post direct insults and comments towards a person's biography? I would like to see the Administrators completely remove defamatory comments instead of deleting the comments and leaving them in the history. If the comments are still publicly viewable in the History section then could that not be damaging to a person's name? Also I feel that usernames and I.P.s of abusers should be blocked from Wikipedia, just my two cents worth 202.49.0.2 (talk) 05:37, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to thank in advance the administrators for addressing my above issue and hope that they continue to do a great job in keeping Wikipedia clean. Thanks guys!
