Who did Clive work for?=[edit]

"Robert Clive, 1st Baron Clive, "Clive of India", who is credited with securing India, and the wealth that followed, for the British crown..."

Is that true? I thought he was an employee of the East india Company. And quite a lot of the wealth ended in his own pockets, as he freely admitted. Sjwells53 (talk) 22:43, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Transport - ambiguous paragraph[edit]

This, the first paragraph in the Transport section reads ambiguously, I suspect there may be word or words missing:

By road, the village itself on an unnamed, the nearest main road is the A41 which is less than 1 mile from the centre of the village, and the next closest is the A53, which is the road which connects the village to, Market Drayton, the nearest town 3 miles away.
