As an alum, I'm glad to see this article has been created. However, virtually all of the text has been lifted without attribution directly from the Moores School webpage. Rewriting[edit]

The article is now free of plagiarized material. It still needs much work!Emoll 00:04, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty much done. Emoll 03:23, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Noted Alumni"[edit]

Since this is a page about the Moores School of Music, I don't see why it is necessary, let alone appropriate, to rattle off a list of musicians who went to U of H but were not students in the School of Music. AntarcticFox (talk) 00:39, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed a few items from the list of alumni accomplishments, with the idea of limiting listed accomplishments to those clearly reflecting high-profile recognition of national and international scope (although I do believe any individual with his or her own separate Wikipedia article needs to be included). This is in no way intended as a slight on some of the accomplishments I have removed. Incidentally, Wikipedia policy advises against editing material about oneself. (Exceptions include simple factual data errors, such as a wrong birthplace or the spelling of your name.) Emoll (talk) 15:52, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think that was a good idea. Nice work. Brianreading (talk) 22:11, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
