Whatever one may think of the title given to Lord Nelson's own article, surely this one can be made more concise, just Monuments and memorials to Lord Nelson? One omission (perhaps has been overlooked) is a statue of Nelson I recall seeing in 1993 on or near Southsea Common. I recall the statue was of him as a young and then unmaimed naval officer, and the plinth bore a plaque with the text of the prayer for victory at Trafalgar he wrote that was found after his death. It would be visible to users local to Portsmouth who could check this out and take a picture.
