What is your source for this? I've read that the Moctezuma of the Chilean Navy was originally built in 1815, not 1804, after the events of Porter's campaign in the War of 1812. Tarvin
- The 1815 date probably refers to when the Chilean royalists seized her at Valparaiso. That then would have represented her first appearance under Chilean/Spanish colours, though that was not her launch year. Acad Ronin (talk) 00:37, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
