Notability[edit]

@LilianaUwU: what significant coverage are you seeing? GEOROAD only says that notability is likely, it doesn't say its guaranteed or automatic. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 02:54, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@SounderBruce: "probably" isn't a reason to remove the tag, is there actually any significant coverage? Horse Eye's Back (talk) 03:21, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Horse Eye's Back: Added meeting minutes and a map. Will be looking through newspapers soon, but a former portion of the national system certainly does meet GNG. Perhaps you'd like to lend a hand and contribute constructively to the project? SounderBruce 03:23, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The only way to meet GNG is through significant coverage. I genuinely can't find any significant coverage of Montana Highway 59 (are you under the impression that I don't search for significant coverage before placing a notability tag?). Horse Eye's Back (talk) 03:24, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
At the rate your contribution history suggests, it's far to quick to have comprehensively checked even a single potential way of finding sources. Merely looking at the first few results for the exact article title on Google is not the only way to find significant coverage. In fact, this article covers a former highway (US 312) with hundreds of results on Newspapers.com. SounderBruce 03:31, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I often line them up in tabs and do batches, not everything is linear. As for the former highway which forms part of this one thats wonderful, is any of it significant coverage? Horse Eye's Back (talk) 03:44, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
