Surname?[edit]

Why molly yeh surname is yeh? Doesnt she is a mixed jewish chinese? Why her surname is derived from her father but not from mother? I think this can be damaging the heritage of a jewish identity? Shinbrod thats a rare sound surname from jewish ethnicity.
