Dual[edit]
I think we should be precise about whether we are using a symmetric power of the representation or a symmetric power of the dual. I looked at the references and they are unfortunately very unclear; they typically use the words instead of more precise mathematical constructions. Since the formula is about *invariant forms*; e.g., linear functionals, to me at least, it is more logical to use a symmetric power of the dual of the representation. Accordingly, I will (or have rewritten) rewrite the article to use the dual. (Of course, this change will alter nothing essential.) -- Taku (talk) 06:51, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
