Seems More or Less About Fine[edit]

Possibly to be done: fill in some missing information. (Unlikely given the subject material.) Maybe add some structure as needed. But this appears relatively clean otherwise. I suggest removing the tag. Any objections? --Mashford 03:27, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV, List of facts, unwikified... delete?[edit]

Wow. This page is in terrible shape. It is a list of unrelated facts. It's NPOV (by saying that he married one of Osama bin Laden's sisters instead of "a member of the bin Laden family", among others.) Is it serviceable? -- Chris Ccool2ax 02:30, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't see how that made it POV (you meant to say POV, right)? You could say the sentence needed to show significance of the subject? WhisperToMe (talk) 20:29, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikified[edit]

I wikified the article a bit, tightened it up, re-organized it. Still needs sources and more cleanup. JubalHarshaw 04:46, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

CNN reports Khalifa's Death in Madagascar[edit]

The report is dated as being posted today, Jan. 31st, but says that Khalifa's family does not know details of the killing, and does not list a death date. Despite that, this is a reliable source which can be used to reference this undercited article. -Fsotrain09 19:09, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reorganization ideas[edit]

I think the key points about Khalifa (deserving mention in the article's introduction) are:

Name, birth and death dates, nationality, once a friend of Osama bin Laden and married his sister.
Known for financing the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the failed 1995 Bokinka plot.

Details worth substantial mention include:

Overview of his background, including early bin Laden connections, the front groups he developed.
His involvement in the 1993 WTC bombing.
His involvement in Bojinka.
Activities after Bojinka, including being arrested and released for the 9-11 attacks.
His death, which is interesting enough that it deserves its own section.

I could do all of that myself, but it would be nice to see a little consensus before being too bold, particularly since I've just restored a lot of material that seems noteworthy, but which has been deleted a few time in the past. I'm not sure whether that's because neutral editors think the deleted material isn't sufficiently important or documented, or if he has fans who want to sanitize his page. —Steve98052 (talk) 11:49, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
