Photograph[edit]

There's a great free-to-use image of Moffat at this link, suitable for uploading to WikiCommons... once the article has developed a little first mind! --Jza84 |  Talk  23:05, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The statue of the ram may be missing its ears, but it is also lacking the more useful tools of its trade. I would suggest another photo taken from its rear would be of great use. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.235.13.179 (talk) 13:31, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wells[edit]

Having recently visited Moffat I am puzzled. The sulphurous well lies a couple of miles above the town and is reached via the Well Road. It lies above, not below, Tank Wood. An Old Well Road also exists with the old Larch Hill well - not medicinal - that lies below Tank Wood. This well is not visible, to the public at least - A Well Cottage exists here though.Rosser Gruffydd 07:07, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
