I am hoping someone can tell me how to pronounce Möbius. My college math professors said "MOY-bee-us". Is this correct?

Well, the correct vowel pronunciation, the close-mid front rounded vowel, isn't really a native sound in English, so I guess that different approximations are often used instead. 惑乱 分からん 18:40, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
