Fixed a math error; T* being a model completion is not always equivalent to it being QE. For example, any model-complete theory is a model completion of itself, but not all model-complete theories are QE. Rodya mirov (talk) 14:18, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Should probably harmonize spelling, probably to "model-complete"[edit]

I checked Hodges, Marker, and Manzano's books on model theory, as well as other texts and they use "model-complete" (with a hyphen). Chang-Keisler's uses "model complete" but their book is the oldest and this spelling seems to be less common. Now does wikipedia promote using different spellings within a single page ? I think it's ok. Does wiki organize polls to decide on spellings (or other choices) ? I don't want to impose my favorite spelling so i would find it useful to organize polls for such decisions. Thus i won't edit this page, unless i see it would be welcome. Plm203 (talk) 23:22, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
