Please do not add Bahamas as venue

I did a few searches, it appears that such news on Bahamas was just a plagiarized version of the announcement of Miss Universe 2009 venue. Please do not add the venue until MUO organization announces it.

If you compare the official announcement from 2009: THE BAHAMAS TO HOST THE 2009 MISS UNIVERSE® PAGEANT AUGUST 23rd

and the news that Bahamas will host the 2012 edition: The Bahamas to host 2012 Miss Universe Pageant on August 27th

Based on the comments of this blog entry "Miss Universe 2012 in the Bahamas again?", it really appears that it is a hoax, especially now that it is pretty easy to 'photoshop' stuff on the internet. Statistics like height etc.

There is a mistake in her data, she did not represent San Juan, she represented Rio Grande.

  • It is possible. You can change the link on the name of the country on the title to the pageant article itself (for example this: Philippines). However, not all countries have their national pageant's articles, so that would be rather difficult. GrayFullbuster (talk) 14:15, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

NO CLEAR REFERENCES

Well. I'm editing the spanish version of the article and I have counting 52 contestants, and in english version are 56.

I beleive it's important check the references for the representatives of Serbia, Kazakhstan and Lithuania (there is not an official confirmation about her participation -hoaxs maybe?-) and France (maybe she doesn't take part of the competition). I'm pretty sure the exciting of some fans is the reason this information still be here.

Why every time i check this article i see speculation, mostly from IPs: An MUO "lockout"?, Sun Life Stadium as venue?? Xbox Live???...EVERY TIME!!!!! 2013's page is same, because editors from the New York-New Jersey area keep putting MetLife Stadium as 2013's venue...This needs to be locked until the actual pageant has been held.
