ìFWDixon is a spammer and plagiarist with more than 100 links from Wiki to his web site to sell books thru Amazon. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.205.13.193 (talkcontribs) 12:35, 20 August 2005 (UTC)

See [[1]] for discussion about User FWDixon/Bob Finnan's link spamming and plagiarism.

The authors info on Finnan's ND site original series was copied from www.keeline.com/Nancy_Drew.pdf Everything else is just Buy It Now links to 80 or so book titles. Pages for the spin off series have no content either. This is obviously link spamming for commercial gain. There is no info on Benson from his links. These links should be deleted. 69.205.1.91 11:51, 28 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ok without getting into the plagiarism topic can we agree that there is no info on Benson on the Unofficial Nancy Drew Web Page and Dana Girls Web Page? If we can shouldn't they be removed? Also these two links are to two web sites owned by the same person. This is not consistent with the one link per site per article rule which has been agreed to on the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew. Thank you. 69.205.9.31 19:23, 31 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Missing words/sentences at the start of this article![edit]

This article starts: "which she offered in a court case involving the publishers revealed..." What happened to the first half of this sentence? Or maybe there were more than one sentences that are now missing.

Dana Girls series author[edit]

Leslie McFarlane (a.k.a. Franklin W. Dixon) wrote the Dana Girls books, not Mildred Benson....Dan Hickman (talk) 23:26, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
