Cause of death[edit]

I am hearing radio reports that his wife says he became dehydrated playing golf earlier in the week and never properly recovered. I can't find any corroboration of this. —DeweyQ 23:58, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dewey, I read the same thing. It's in this link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/08/11/AR2006081101748.html

However, the article is careful to say the definite cause of death has yet to be determined. NickBurns 22:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mike Douglas.jpg[edit]

Image:Mike Douglas.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

No references[edit]

This article, along with The Mike Douglas Show, was created in 2004. With 152 editors it is amazing that there are no listed references in over seven years but external links that are actually used as source or references. I commented on "The Mike Douglas Show" talk page (as well as here), to see if there are any editors watching this article. I would like to see if there are possible solutions (references) before possibly concluding that both of these articles (and any other similar ones) may need to be nominated for articles for deletion. A lifelong Democrat.[edit]

That used to be in his main page. It explained why Mike Douglas was one of the first to welcome the Rolling Stones in America. Or,the fact that John and Yoko were frequent guests and even week long co hosts. Lennon and Douglas seemed good natured with each other. I wonder why all that was removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:642:4100:A1A0:289E:2142:32A4:A884 (talk) 01:15, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
