The woman is NOT in "European dress". This is a very clear example of an üçetek. She os wearing Ottoman clothing.

I have not been able to read the offline source but in looking for it I found that the Edhem Eldem JSTOR source clarifies (on page 358) that that the dress is, in fact, an Ottoman house dress. Singingcanoe (talk) 16:42, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
