New research[edit]

New Scientist article claims Microlith's found 20000BC, during the ice age not after. Possible explanation for increased population.

Can anyone explain the shape of the finger holding that microlith? It seems to have some kind of skin hood, but the fingerprint clearly extends around the hood! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.245.147.118 (talk) 10:12, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency[edit]

The introduction of the article states "They are usually made of flint or chert and are typically one centimetre long and half a centimetre wide. " This is contradicted by the illustrations. Can anyone suggest a more accurate desctription? 86.151.27.78 (talk) 19:37, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
