I have an unpublished personal document (undated) which states the following:

I am the sole Arbouin descendant in Jamaica, and a brother Ernest lives in California and is a naturalised American.

Mrs Alfred Groom had 12 Children who with one exception, all married and there are many younger descendants in Jamaica who can claim cousinship with the Arbouins in Australia. One of her daughters (Mrs. Alex Davidson) is 91 yrs [...] She has 3 sons, all successful businessmen here, 2 married daughters and one un-married one who has a successful commercial school.

Miss Marjorie Grant. 1a Marescaux Road, Cross Roads P.O. Jamaica

She is the youngest descendant, just 21 years and her Mother married the Vice-Principal of one of our oldest Colleges for training teachers (Mrs Arthur Grant) [...]
