Deletion of unsourced material[edit]

I've removed large chunks of material from this article because of WP:BLP concerns. Any claims that could be construed as defamatory - e.g. allegations of criminal behaviour - MUST be properly sourced. I realise that this cuts out a lot of important content, and I have no doubt that suitable sources could be found for some of these claims, but I don't have the time to go chasing them now - feel free to re-add it with appropriate sourcing. --GenericBob (talk) 01:20, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On a quick search I couldn't find anything obvious for 'Tommy Ramsay', so I've deleted this bit too. --GenericBob (talk) 11:20, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted to "businessman": As the sources provided do not support use of (libelous, I think?), "mobster", this edit has been reverted. It would likely contravene WP:BLP. Of course, add it back if there's a reliable source for it. 122.105.94.165 (talk) 12:48, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, not sure why the love affair with "mobster" being put into article, but don't think it's quite right, in terms of WP:BLP. Reverted to ". . . who is widely suspected of being involved in the Melbourne underworld" version again, which should be sufficient to convey a similar concept. Why the insistence on the non-NPOV - and unsourced - "mobster"? 49.177.64.138 (talk) 12:28, 14 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Firearms charges 2016[edit]

In July 2016 Mick Gatto was found guilty of having a shotgun and ammunition. His defense was that he needed it for protection from the Columbians/others He was fined $2,500, plenty of current news sources but I have no idea how to do the wiki thing.

Only adding this comment because the above was why I actually checked his page. I was hoping for more info. 203.39.249.148 (talk) 04:37, 27 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
