flag[edit]

Hi, I am the subject of this article and noticed recently that it has been flagged because of edits I made to it myself. As no more than an occasional contributor to Wikipedia, I was not aware that this was so severely frowned upon, though of course it makes sense that there can be a conflict of interest. Over the years I have tried to keep the page up to date by providing the details to exhibitions and book publications as they have occurred. I do stand by the edits, which are correct and, in addition to their neutral tone, have made the page a good deal more complete. They are also verifiable. Is there any way this situation can be resolved? I am happy to bow out of making future changes now that I understand it is not desired; I had thought that the fact that I was always logged in with my actual name was "disclosure" enough. Apparently not. Thanks for your advice and assistance. Best regards, M.H.Michael C.M. Huey (talk) 17:28, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
