This article gives a very brief introduction to the monastery and provides a lot of room for improvement. I will add a section about the historical context and importance of this Buddhist monastery in the US. I will be adding four or five sources about Theravada Buddhism and Theravada Buddhism specifically in the US. Some of these sources are by Wendy Cadge, a professor of sociology, who has written extensively about Theravada Buddhism. Two other sources are articles about people's visits to the monastery, which are both published on the Buddhist journal Tricycle. Although they are not scholarly articles, they provide context for what life at the monastery is actually like. "Exile Spirit"^[1] by Barbara Roether is more about Thanissaro Bhikkhu's journey and the history of the monastery including how it was funded. Altogether I expect to add about 200 words to this article. Any suggestions on these changes are more than welcome, either on this or my own talk page.
