Rename?[edit]

I'm a bit concerned that the name Metro Jacksonville could just as easily refer to the Jacksonville metropolitan area, as that article states. Additionally, the one independent source cited here calls it "Metrojacksonville.com",[1] which seems to be standard practice for the Daily Record.[2] A search at The Florida Times-Union website shows the results are split between the website and the metro area.[3] I'll add a hat note here, but we may need to consider moving the article, perhaps to Metrojacksonville.com.--Cúchullain t/c 16:01, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Daily Record may have old refereed to it as Metrojacksonville.com , but I think it is far more important to stick to what name the company has given itself. anytime it refers to itself it uses the "Metro Jacksonville". I get your concern. I think adding the link you did eliminates that as an issue. Most people probably end up on the Jacksonville metropolitan area page because they are clicking on an in page link on a related topic. I assume most are not typing the name in the search box. If it does become an issue, I've seen journalism articles with parentheses at the end of the name to indicate it is some kind of publication, e.g. "Metro Jacksonville (blog)".--Mathew105601 (talk) 12:47, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think the hat note will take care of any confusion for now.--Cúchullain t/c 15:25, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
