Meta Haitian or African? Haitian....[edit]

An anon IP (208.192.179.150 (talk) has reverted twice stating Meta is African-American or that one of her parents are. I have found many sources stating she is of Haitian decent not African. If you could find a reliable source stating she is of or part of African decent please put it. Ive seen the little sites that some haitian wrote stating that she was of haitian decent but shes not. one of her parents are of african american/black decent and the other is caucasian. i didnt say anything about one of her parents being african. and as for what you said about skin tone i wouldnt know because im light skinned but that does not matter because this is about meta and she is not haitian she is an american mullato. other than that you wont find anything stating her real bio because she isnt that famous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.192.179.150 (talk) 15:00, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Like i said before someone, meaning a normal person that sat on their computer went to imdb and wrote her Bio thereself. notice how every page you visit.. (and ive done this) has the same bio over and over.....etc. its not reliable. and like i said she isnt haitian thus it makes no sence to lable her as such. there are no really good websites to find a better biography. the woman isnt really famous. and thats why i wont find her real information. its obvious that shes not haitian. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.192.179.150 (talk) 13:50, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To anon user above I did not cite IMDB as a reference, so you cannot use to excuse, but this is on many of official reliable sites, as well on her official TV series site. Meta has confirmed her own ethnicity, and not ' everybody else' does. If you want to keep reverting back to African then please use a reliable reference to state so, because there is many saying Haitian, and she has even said Haitian herself a while ago in an interview. Oh Really?[edit]

Find me a decent biography from another so called official reliable site thats not this :Meta Golding is of Haitian descent but was raised in the United States, India, France and Italy as well as Haiti itself. She competed on ice as an Italian national figure skater, but when an injury ended her skating career she started acting in Italian theatre. Later she returned to the USA to attend Cornell University where she earned degrees in Theatre Arts and International Relations. She now resides in Los Angeles, California, but donates much of her spare time to an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. beacause someone wrote it incase you didnt know on imdb people not Imdb staff, are allowed to write biographys and lie.

1979? More like 1971[edit]

What is the source of the 1979 year or even her birth day?

Zabasearch.com found one Meta Golding - in California, age 41. This is a public records search - not some celeb/tabloid site. If her birthday is indeed November 2, this gives her a birth year of 1971, not 1979. Hence, I changed the 1979 to 1971.
