"My Girls"[edit]

I don't see "My Girls" on that blog. All I see is something labeled "Summertime Clothes" but is actually "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney. Where is the "My Girls" link? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.102.174.229 (talk) 20:34, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The post with "My Girls" has been removed and the fake "Summertime Clothes" has been posted afterwards as a joke. The original post can still be seen in the RSS-feed, but the leaked mp3 has been removed from the server. Beryll (talk) 11:40, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicting dates[edit]

Why does it say this album will be released in the US on both January 6th, 2009 and January 20th, 2009. The only difference is it says LP next to the 6th one but then what is being released on the 20th?

The vinyl is being released on the 6th. The digital and cd releases follow on the 20th.HeadTalking (talk) 09:29, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]


"Brothersport" or "Brother Sport"?[edit]

UK release date[edit]

For the last time[edit]

Merriweather Post Pavilion is Animal Collective's eighth studio album. Hollinndagain is a live album and therefore does not count as a studio album. Too many reviews[edit]

The infobox was way to jam packed with reviews. Per WP:Albums, there should only be 10 reviews. I've moved some of the removed ones to here for future reference.

why is rolling stone a relevant review? they don't like any music that peaked before 1970. putting them here only prolongs their reign as people that shit on creative new music while trying to preserve the time forged traditions of led zeppelin and other disappointing music. a review from something like the onion would be much more useful and forward thinking
Although I do find Rolling Stone to be quite the dinosaurs of rock criticism, you can't deny them because of this. They've been around. They are established. It's important to think what these people thought of the album. Plus, you want to keep the reviews unbiased, so some of the less positive reviews still have to be included. This is a very good album, I listened to the begining songs and the middle songs and even some of the ending ones and I was able to discern that is a very well crafted piece of art.

Much praised to their art.

I like how they are spreading a message of art in almost every angle...
