Additions I would welcome[edit]

I've:

Selected the GEMTC of Casati and Varzi (1999) as a paradigmatic mereotopological system, and added the section describing it;
Expanded the references and linked as many references as possible to online texts;
Rewritten much of the remainder of the entry.

I am very open to suggestions that another system (such as that of Roeper 1997 or Cohn and Varzi 2003) should be briefly described here as well, or that GEMTC should be deemphasized.

I would also welcome additions that would improve how this entry connects with the large corpus of received mathematics, especially topology and set theory. I know no topology, but admire from a great distance the subject and the people who have contributed to it. Those who gave us so much of basic topology, e.g., Hausdorff and the Poles, were also close to the founders of set theory, mereology, and mathematical logic. Point-free topology[edit]
