Does anyone have source material for the stuff about the Myreton Hill track and the calcite mine? Macboff 22:00, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How about changing the OS grid reference to NS852968 ? This would show, on the Ordnance Survey's website, more of the East end of Menstrie: Victoria Terrace and the factory, while omitting farmland to the West.

And the phone dialling code to +44 (0) 1259 for the benefit of all those folk across the world who want to ring up?

And should '... Broomhall, a superb Scottish baronial mansion ...' have the 'superb' ?

Sounds a bit non-objective / non-Wikipedian.

Nova Scotia[edit]

I think there should be some refeernece to Nova Scoatia from the clansmen who travelled to set up the colony there.This was orchestrated by the then Lord Alexander of Menstrie. A plaque is still on the west facing wall in the old library situated in Menstrie castle, which had a shield for each clan that was represented in the colony being supported in Nova Scotia.

There's a reference to Nova Scotia in the page about Menstrie Castle itself; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstrie_Castle#The_castle. Might that be a better place for that detail?

Is there a list anywhere of the clans involved ? How about this http://www.scotsns.ca/culture/clans-societies.asp  ?
