Yacht[edit]

It turns out that his yacht mentioned in this article was the same yacht later owned and sunk by Jordan Belfort as in the film The Wolf of Wall Street. It's also the same yacht originally built for Coco Chanel. — Hippietrail (talk) 04:49, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Prenup[edit]

The article states "He was said to have considered divorcing his wife but was afraid of the negative publicity, and knew that under a prenuptial agreement that he had signed, his wife would get half of everything he owned" There was a prenup, but it didn't favor either of them. In fact, it forced them to stay together. If she initiated divorce proceedings, she'd only receive $200,000 but if he sued for divorce it would nullify the contract and half his estate could go to her. So, neither one of them was motivated to proceed that way. In my opinion, he had crappy lawyers. He left her no other choice but to kill him. In order for her to profit, he had to be dead. And people do crazy things for money. I guess he couldn't envision himself ever wanting to divorce her.
