Programmer?[edit]

Does anyone know if Mel Croucher actually programmed any of the Automata games or whether he just ran the company? -- Zagrebo 12:41, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He never coded anything, but he did everything else, like the concept, game design, graphics, music and publicity.

Is there a source I can cite this information from? I'd like to mention that in the article and the articles for some of the games he was involved in but I'd need a source. --Zagrebo 20:07, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What platform were his 1970s games for?[edit]

This was before the Sinclair ZX80, ZX81 and Spectrum existed, but it must have been something that used tape (since they were radio-broadcast). I contacted him but got no response. Any ideas? 86.165.219.56 (talk) 19:54, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like it was Commodore PET software over Radio Victory, starting in 1977.[1][2] Perhaps it was others too. StrayBolt (talk) 23:09, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
