History of Meharry Medical College[edit]

Hello All,

I will be working on expanding the history portion of this wikipedia page as a part of a class assignment. Any feedback, corrections, or general observations about my modifications would be greatly appreciated. Faithkbrown (talk) 17:59, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I think your article provided a lot of interesting details. However, the details could have either focused in more on the topic of Meharry Medical College, or provided a little more insight into the significance in relation to your topic. For example, the wagon story about Samuel Meharry seems to be irrelevant when discussing the history of the college itself or its establishment. The same logic goes for the mention of the split of the Methodist Epsicopal Church. The only other suggestion I have is to organize your part (since it is a history section) in chronological order to allow the reader to better follow the history of the school. Other than that, great job!Samuelkou (talk) 01:54, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a helpful source document about the history of Meharry and the closely associated Hubbard Hospital: Journal of the National Medical Association, January, 1962 Vol. 54 No. 1, "George W. Hubbard Hospital, 1910-1961". Jack N. Stock (talk) 21:42, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
