Line[edit]

Does it go beyond Paddock Wood to Tonbridge ? The line stops at Paddock Wood but do services continue to Tonbridge ? Pickle 17:57, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pickle, There doesn't seem to be any through service - the journey from Strood to Tonbridge via Paddock Wood seems to take just under an hour, with about a ten minute wait for a connection at Paddock Wood. Hope that helps! Lynbarn 09:32, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In general the service operates as a shuttle between Strood and Paddock Wood. It works reliably, and is not affected by delays/problems on other routes. In the peak, there is an odd through train to London Bridge, but in general you do need to change at Paddock Wood. Canterberry 20:48, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers, at the time (i think!) i was wondering about the obscure services that end up at Horsham via Gatwick and where they originate from, etc. Pickle 14:40, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Paddock Wood to Tonbridge is part of the South Eastern Main Line. The diagram needs altering to show the junction to Tovil Goods above Tovil Station as trains on the goods line did not pass through the passenger station. Class 465 / 466[edit]

Hi, Are Class 465 / 466 still used on this line?, Having looked on Flickr it seems only Classes 375/6/7/8/9 is used but having not been on a train in 4-5 years I could be wrong and it may well be used ?, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:56, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
