[Untitled][edit]

Hello all,

Moved the info over from the Canada section of "Medical School" to create Canada's own page. A few issues: I'm wondering if the section on dialect at the bottom and some of the discussion of differences between residencies here and in the States is of interest.

I'm tempted to put in an exhaustive table of direct-entry residencies available through CaRMS to Canadian grads, that would also show subspecialty fellowships possible after completion of the residencies. Wouldn't be of much interest to med students / docs, but might interest the general public to see how subspecialized medicine has become in Canada.

I think the article would benefit from some NPOV discussion of the steps faced by FMGs in obtaining residencies/licenses/jobs here. This will no doubt be a challenge. Would also be interesting to discuss obstacles faced by Canadian grads getting licenses elsewhere (e.g., Florida). Dannywp 02:53, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revising the title[edit]

Under Medical Education Systems[[1]], the articles for Australia, The United States, The United Kingdom, Hong Kong, the Philippines, South Africa use the format for urls:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_education_in_*country*

The exceptions to this format are India (which is linked through http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_College_%28India%29), and Canada.
