Meconopsis grandis[edit]

Meconopsis grandis, a species, redirects to the genus,Meconopsis. This seem hardly satisfactory in an encyclopaedia or in a section on plants where it is surely important to distinguish between genera and species ... I am hoping someone might fix this up.! @MargaretRDonald: it's a highly problematic article in other ways too. Meconopsis cambrica is now in Papaver. No source is given for the supposed species such as M. gakyidiana which aren't listed in reliable secondary sources as far as I can see. It needs a complete overhaul. @Peter coxhead: (Like so many... But it won't be me cleaning it up. Too much other stuff to do.) MargaretRDonald (talk) 06:22, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@MargaretRDonald: ok will add to my to-do list, for what that's worth! Peter coxhead (talk) 11:01, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

M. Lingholm[edit]

Lingholm was discovered in 1996 in the English lake district and should be added to this list. 82.21.11.9 (talk) 16:05, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
