Copy changes

• Stevens' should be Stevens's per MOS:'S. Many instances in this article are not possessives and should just be "Stevens".

Lead

• Add a comma after "at the time"

Background

• This needs more hyphens and should be then-17-year-old
• Remove the "however" to improve sentence flow
• Add comma after "fledgling label" and another after "surprise success"
• Inspiritation or inspiration?
• "other sources claims"

Composition

• between two chords, E minor and C while the Add a comma after C to complete the appositive
• Hyphenate "working class" or, better yet, "employers of the working class".
• Remove comma after "aren't characters" (WP:CINS)

Release

• "According to hurst" forgot to capitalize
• need a "the" before "BBC Light Programme"
• "Matthew and Son" entered the UK's Record Retailer chart on 18 January 1967 at a position of number 33, before peaking at number two on 8 February remove the comma or the word "before"
• "the Monkees" can take a possessive: the Monkees' "I Am a Believer"
• "Matthew and Son" also saw some chart success which was primarily fueled add a comma after "success"
• in New Zealand it reached number one on the charts, while peaking at number two and three in South Africa and Rhodesia remove unneeded comma
• "Bubbling" should be capitalized
• add "it" between "though" and "did"

Reception

• Should past-tense reception be past-tense in the article instead of present?
• the staff reviewer take note of the lyrics needs fixing
• a song from the musical West Side Story that Stevens took inspiration from maybe a song from the musical West Side Story from which Stevens took inspiration

• Does the Personnel section have a source?

• 2: Cannot verify as Charlesworth is an offline source. However, the author seems authoritative on the topic.
• 29: Disc and Music Echo for the peak on the UK charts (2). Y
• 37: South Africa charts information shows peak of 2, 10 weeks on chart. Y
• 42: Another offline source.
• 51: The quote should be "healthy reputation", not "healthy reputation for his records". The source reads "...healthy reputation his platters had already started to create". Y
• 55: See 2.
• 64: Singapore chart with a peak of 5. The page number should be changed to 71, PDF page 67. Y

No Earwig issues: mostly flags attributed quotes.

Images

The article has four images. One is a record sleeve with NFUR. The Sound and Vision Wiki image appears to be one of the ones with CC licensing. The ad without copyright notice is OK, though it'd be wonderful if it could be lightened so the white areas aren't dark gray in color. (that's an Encouragement, not required at GA.) The Glastonbury image is also CC-licensed. Encouragement: Add alt text.
