No acting career[edit]

I found it strange to believe that this Matt Doherty played the character of Lester Averman in the Mighty Ducks trilogy. It would mean he was 30 years old in the first movie. It's another Matt Doherty who played in these movies. Dead links and neutrality[edit]

Several of the links that are cited as inline citations in this Matt Doherty's article are not only improperly formatted (the links don't follow a "cite news/web" template; they're links placed directly into the article), they're dead. The links pointing to news sites (WRAL and WNDU) certainly are. And I can't find an archived link to the WNDU article.

The Blue Bloods book is improperly formatted as well; it doesn't follow the "cite book" template.

I also feel this article, or at least the North Carolina part, lacks a neutral tone. Remember's still correct in regards to this article needing more citations, especially outside the North Carolina part. But I question items like "Art Chansky, a longtime historian of the UNC program [...]" I know Chansky used to work for the Tar Heel Sports Network before he was pushed out because of an email he sent in 2010 [1], that he now writes for WCHL (AM)'s website [2], and he writes books about Tar Heel sports, but I can't find anything that supports that he was a "longtime historian" of any sort. Also, he's not the only person who has written books about the UNC-Chapel Hill sports program for about the last 10 years or so (e.g. Adam Lucas).

I'm going to check the program's official facts and records book to check, but I also feel some of the stats mentioned in the middle of the North Carolina part may be outdated, especially anything written before the 2009-10 season, when that UNC team went to the postseason NIT. I've added some of those stats to other articles, but I can't check to verify this information off the top of my head. THE evil fluffyface (talk) 12:57, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Inside Carolina source[edit]

I marked "The day after the resignation, Inside Carolina's Thad Williamson reported that UNC officials were very concerned about the lack of a respectful environment in the program" with a disputed inline tag. According to the source this line cites (The Matt Doherty Era - What Went Wrong?), however, Adam Boone's (a former UNC player around the time of Doherty) father is cited as saying Boone left the program because of the environment at the time. Boone later confirmed that statement. I'd like to also see and find other sources quoting Boone's father.

(Also, it should be noted that Adam Boone's father never has, or is not currently, working for UNC's basketball program.) THE evil fluffyface (talk) 03:38, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
