Multiple problems[edit]

This article is awkwardly worded by someone who is obviously not a native English speaker. Furthermore, there are no references to the used sources in the text.

I also spotted a major error in the "Participation to the National Affairs" section. Ieshige was not the 14th, but the 9th shogun. The person who assumed the mantle of shogun was Tokugawa Yoshitomi, who then changed his name to Iemochi. I'm going to edit that right away.

It could be that a lot of this has been written from memory, which is very problematic. Vickstick (talk) 18:12, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
