Er, surely we should explicitly mention his disability?[edit]

This article is a little hard to follow, since it doesn't come right out and mention that he is disabled (or whatever the preferred term might be), but it does talk about "spacking up". Surely, if we want to give a full account of this actor (about whom I know nothing), we should mention this fact. Otherwise, his interest in disabled actors for disabled parts is a little under-motivated. Phiwum (talk) 00:35, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps I skimmed too quickly, since it does mention a disabled acting company in the first paragraph. Nonetheless, unless there is some policy otherwise, I wonder whether his disability ought to be more explicitly discussed, rather than obliquely hinted at. Number one single in Italy?[edit]

Does anyone know what is the "number one single in Italy" mentioned in the musical career? Wikipedia's reference points to a website claiming "bio stolen from Wikipedia", so we have a recursive reference here :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.58.17.251 (talk) 09:03, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Article not primary topic[edit]

The article on the actor is no longer the primary topic for the article title Mat Fraser. View count over the last couple of years indicates that there are more than twice as many average daily page view for Mat Fraser (athlete) [1] (1066) as there are for the actor [2] (452), and Google Trends also shows the CrossFit athlete to be the more common topic since 2016 [3]. I'm not suggesting the athlete be made the primary topic since I suspect interest in the athlete would decline if he retires in a few years' time (therefore long term significance is hard to determine), rather that Mat Fraser be made a disambiguation page per WP:NOPRIMARY, and move the current article to Mat Fraser (actor). Hzh (talk) 12:29, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Come to think of it, I'll start an official move request at WP:RM so that more people can take notice of the proposed move and discuss it. Hzh (talk) 21:47, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mat FraserMat Fraser (actor) – Article for the actor is not the primary topic. Over the last four years, Mat Fraser (athlete) has more average daily views (981) - [4] than Mat Fraser the actor (444) - [5]. Google Trends also suggest Mat Fraser the CrossFit athlete to be more common since 2016 [6]. I'm not proposing making Mat Fraser (athlete) the primary topic because I cannot be certain that over a longer term he will still be a more popular subject (when he retires in a few years' time, the interest in him will likely wane), rather that the Mat Fraser article be moved to Mat Fraser (actor) because it is not the primary topic, and the Mat Fraser page be made a disambiguation page per WP:NOPRIMARY. Hzh (talk) 22:15, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note that the athlete Mat Fraser's name is Mathew Fraser with one "T". I don't know the full name of the other. Hzh (talk) 11:56, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Matthew Fraser dab page currently lists men named Matthew Fraser, Matt Fraser and Mat Fraser. Unused variants, such as Matthew Frazer, Mathew Fraser or Matty Fraser also redirect to the dab page so that users who may be uncertain as to the exact spelling of the name would have every option of finding the object of their search. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 13:50, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
