Question on Central Artery designation[edit]

Do we still call this the "Central Artery," now that the Big Dig is "complete?" I've stopped hearing that designation in traffic reports. As far as I know, the road is still officially designated the "Central Artery", no matter what the media calls it. Unfortunately, since it's been a while since I lived in the area, I can't say for sure. Anyone care to post a clarification? --EmiOfBrie 12:17 CST 11/26/2005

Here's a Mass Turnpike Authority site dated September 16, 2005. It continues to use the term "Central Artery." Fg2 01:11, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Exit list example[edit]

I changed the exit list at Exit 20A to use as an example for a discussion at the WP:ELG talk page. We are debating the use of "TO" shields over highway shields to show that an exit will direct a driver to the route displayed. My example shows the intent of the overhead signs to direct I-95 traffic to north of Boston from 3 to take 93 south to I-95 north rather than further congest the SE Expressway and Central Artery. Revert if you completely disagree with the formatting, it is only temporary until some sort of template addition to or similar to {{jct}} can be devised. I will comment further at the discussion linked previously in this paragraph, if not now then within a few hours. Sswonk (talk) 04:52, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
