Concur, I removed it. --GregU 10:44, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Crownsville or Annapolis?[edit]

Sorry if this is nitpicky. The festival maintains a P.O. box in Crownsville. The festival grounds are outside of any incorporated or census-designated place, but within the 21401 zip code of Annapolis. So which is it? I would vote for Annapolis since that is the best match for the location, but I won't change anything myself, since the festival itself uses Crownsville. This came up because I've been editing the Anne Arundel County page, and there I say it is "near Annapolis."--Bardobro (talk) 15:29, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2014 protest[edit]

I've significantly cut down the text on the protest. This was done for two main reasons: sourcing and linkspam. Linking to PETA, e-newsletters, and take action pages all count as primary sources, which should not be used in this context; secondary sources are much more preferred. To that end, really only the Look To The Stars article is acceptable as a source. The wn.com link is just a reprint of PETA's press release, so it doesn't count as an additional source. I've also removed it from its own section per WP:WEIGHT. Also, jamming the article full of links to the protest page feels like a cheap way around the linkfarm policy. The point of Wikipedia is not to drive traffic to the protest pages. I'd like to see a secondary source that can demonstrate the other organizations before we start naming them directly, but looking around, I'm not sure what we're gonna get. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 01:52, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've put back in the reference to the Capital Gazette's coverage of the protests, which is a secondary source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Freeranging intellect (talkcontribs) 12:11, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I've edited the text to reflect what the sources say - in this case, that only Born Free USA also protested. We can't say "other groups" because the sources don't say it. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 03:26, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
