Not humor. Simple illiteracy[edit]

Section: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370
"A small black hole would suck in our entire universe, so we know it's not that."...It is of course possible that Schiavo was simply expressing herself humorously, and did not expect to be taken literally.

It was said in dead earnest and not in jest. In my experience scientifically illiterate people often mistake “Universe” for “World”. I suggest that the reference to humor be deleted. --Prof. Bleent (talk) 16:48, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

Some portions, including the first paragraph, seem like something her publicist would say. (And a few of the later sections may be phrased in an unjustifiably negative manner.)

Also, if she lost a professorship over her bomb hoax/"test of security", that seems like it shouldn't have been deleted just because a prosecutor declined to file criminal charges as well.
